Resident Options for Dining in Byron Center
Independent living residents have the option to sit down and enjoy two optional meals every day with their community members. Residents in independent living are able to cook their own meals whenever they like, with beautiful kitchens and appliances provided in their rooms. However, when they want a break or want to sit down with friends for a meal, two delicious daily meals will be available to them, ensuring that they can take a load off and enjoy fresh cooking with their neighbors in the communal dining area.
Assisted living and memory care residents can enjoy three beautifully-prepared meals on a daily basis. Our care team and medical team will be supporting them as they need during meal time in our communal area, ensuring that they can enjoy their fresh meals confidently. If needed, our team can assist with socialization and forming bonds with other community members.
Our communal dining area is designed to facilitate connection and conversation, and with our team in hand, we’ll make sure that residents at every level of care can have a peaceful experience when they’re enjoying their meals. We make eating easy and comfortable at Byron Manor.
Having to choose a nursing home is hard to do and when you’re working with Alzheimer’s it’s an even tougher job. You start with not even knowing what questions to ask. Byron Manor was the best choice I ever made. They start by evaluating the patent to make sure there is a good fit for either independent living, assisted living or memory care and they work with you on the financial end as well if need be. I found that the staff, both administration and ‘hands on’ caregivers were so caring when working directly with the residents and helpful in teaching us what we needed to do. I saw them treat each resident with dignity, respect and compassion, far beyond other places we had used. When they say they treat your loved ones like family…they truly do.
