Best place ever!! We moved my mother in law from another location, we were told she might loose about 10% of her memory with the move. However we saw an increase in her after moving her here! The food is amazing, the place is spotless, bright and inviting, the STAFF are so great they are beyond words. If you want the best for your loved one this is it!!

My Mother-in-law and Father-in-law just love living at Byron Manor. We are grateful that they enjoy delicious meals, fun activities and such loving care.

When it was time for my Dad to move into Byron Manor he was very uncooperative. However, as of his first day he only had positive feedback! After a bit, his medical needs required more care, so a move from the Independent Living to the Assisted Living was planned. He was fighting that tooth & nail as well, but again he was so very pleased the same day once he was settled. He regularly comments how good & plentiful the food is. He appreciates that they bring him his medications. My family & I have been so grateful for all the staff does. They go above & beyond for us & him.

I have been working as a registered nurse in these types of facilities for about 15 years and can’t say enough good about this facility. I have worked in most of the facilities in the greater Grand Rapids area and this facility is as good as it gets. The culture that exists amongst staff is what sets it apart. The people that work there truly care about the residents. There are a number of other good facilities in this area but none better.

Having to choose a nursing home is hard to do and when you’re working with Alzheimer’s it’s an even tougher job. You start with not even knowing what questions to ask. Byron Manor was the best choice I ever made. They start by evaluating the patent to make sure there is a good fit for either independent living, assisted living or memory care and they work with you on the financial end as well if need be. I found that the staff, both administration and ‘hands on’ caregivers were so caring when working directly with the residents and helpful in teaching us what we needed to do. I saw them treat each resident with dignity, respect and compassion, far beyond other places we had used. When they say they treat your loved ones like family…they truly do. If you are needing to place for a loved one…look no further!

Byron Manor is so much different than other places I know. It is owned by a local family and not a chain. The care and the individual interaction between resident and staff speaks of family value, love and acceptance. Daily activities are planned considering input by those who reside there and their abilities. If you are looking for a place where your loved one is truly treated as family and their input is important and recognized, you are at the right place.

I love working for Byron Manor! The family friendly atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for. I love seeing staff caring for the residents of BCM in such a warm way. I love how resident families walk in with smiles and leaving knowing their loved ones are always cared for. We are one big family here and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!

I cannot say enough about Byron Manor. My parents have been there for a year now. Recently our dad went through a serious health scare. Staff at the Manor was so caring, not only for my parents but us as well. We felt the love and concern of everyone that works here. Everyone here is like family, from the staff to the residents. Daily programming is fun too. I have participated some since I was there during those times. Great source of entertainment for the residents. You can be very active if you choose. Something going on everyday. GREAT place to have your loved one live if they are in that stage of life.
